I’ve been away from my blog for awhile…

But it’s with good reason. I finally bought and moved into that house that I’ve been talking about for months. We’re just now getting settled in and I LURVE it.

The best part about my new house is my ‘mommy’s only’ room. At least, that’s what the Hubs calls it. I think I would rather adopt Scarlett Greyson’s tag of a muse’s room. She moved into hers this week, too. Mine is still a work in progress. I have some ideas about what I want to do but no real direction yet. Really and truly it doesn’t have to look like much. I’m just glad that there is a space I can escape to, where I can write and read and just be a girl in a house full of men…well, one man and two in training.

Hit me with any ideas you might have. I have too big walls to cover. I’m thinking inspiration wall and one of those cork walls like Scarlett says she has in hers. BTW, Scarlett. They didn’t have the cork and my home depot. Someone told me they have it at Lowes though.

Anyway, starting next week I’m going to try to blog on a more regular basis again.

  1. Hey – happy house-warming!!! How exciting – ah, I'd like a muse's room. I have a muse's corner and it just doesn't cut it.

I'm not all that active on my blog right now either – and it's coming up on a year since I started it. Hope to “see” you around more.

  2. Hey T…you know, you're right…it was Lowes…I forgot!

Congrats and glad to hear you're settling in!

I have to say…I agree that Mr.Greyson's name for my office/craftroom is sweet!

  3. Thanks Robin!I think I'm coming up on my year anniversary too. I still haven't quite achieved what I wanted to achieve with this blog or my writing but now I will renew my efforts.

Scarlett, lol. I like Lowes anyway. I feel like a poser when I go in Home Depot because clearly I have zero home improvement skills. Contrary to Home Depot's slogan, I can't do it and they can't help, lol.

  4. Yay! It looks so warm and cozy and…homey! 🙂 Congrats!

  5. Thanks, Sommer! It is pretty cozy. I've read/slept in that chair several times already.

  6. Ahhh – that is lovely! You ladies are prompting me to reorganize and find my own space around here. 🙂
